Sangam literature mentions many ancient conventions followed by tamils. The incredible thing is PORUL MARABU (பொருள் மரபு) also known as THEORY OF THINAI(திணை கோட்பாடு). Ancient tamils had classified the love as AGA PORUL(அகப்பொருள்) and valour as PURA PORUL(புறப்பொருள்).
